she’s crouching behind one of the work tables, and being as quiet as she possibly could when moving to crawl. thank god i’m not wearing a skirt, her mind wanders. the shorts offer much more flexibility. but more importantly pepper wonders what he’ll do once he has her. ❛ the sooner you stop complaining, the sooner you might find me. ❜ 

the room is mostly silent, aside from the a/c running throughout the home ( and lab ) which just barely masks pepper’s sly movements along the floor. however, hearing her voice at least gives tony a general idea of where she is now. taking a few light steps, his chin lifts.   ❛ i’m not complaining… i just wanna know where you are so i can ravish you already. ❜   arrogant much? ALWAYS.

she makes a haste decision to descend down the stairwell when approaching the end of the corridor. ❛ oh this is entirely fair, considering the stunts you’ve pulled before! ❜ laughter follows just as she reaches the bottom stair. pepper finds herself in his lab, and with no certain destination in mind, she continues to move forward; perhaps she could hide.

it’s a cruel move on pepper’s end, but tony chases her on anyways. it’s a bit harder as they hurry down the stairs, but it’s easier for pepper since she’s ahead of him anyways. once on leveled ground, however, he’s left with an unfortunate sight: pepper nowhere to be seen. the engineer sighs, taking his time to walk about the lab.   ❛ potts, you’re not being fair. ❜
