hi, all! my name is Manon, and i’m 21 years old ( i use she/her pronouns ), and i’ve been writing here on tumblr since 2011. EST timezone ( if you want to know ). i am in no way affiliated with marvel, sony, tony stark, robert downey jr, or anyone else. i’m simply a fan. this is my third ( ? ) remake of tony stark, but i truly hope this time sticks. he’s my favorite male character to write, and marvel was my first major fandom. with that said, i’m a full time college student and i have a job ( looking for another ), so i will not always be here. i can also be found at butscrewmefirst, mariabclla, and elitesoldier. *spoilers ahead*

DRAMA/HATE FREE

seeing as i started the kindness campaign, i do not tolerate any kind of drama or hate. i thrive off of good vibes and kind writers. keep that in mind if you decide to follow me!

MY TONY PORTRAYAL

the way i portray tony stark is 100% up to date with all of the movies ( spider-man homecoming included ). he does not have the reactor, but he is still iron man. he is also working on his relationship with pepper. despite their break in civil war, they are 100% back together and tony is in a completely devoted relationship with her. if you have any other specific questions, please just ask!

WRITING

i prefer one liners, multi-paragraphs, and the likes, but i’m not picky. i also use icons ( all made by me ) in my replies, but i don’t mind at all if you don’t. furthermore, i personally do not write using purple prose. i’m also not a huge fan of it ( especially if i have to read the reply more than three times in one sitting just to understand it ).

SHIPPING

first and foremost, i write tony as straight. with that said, my number one ship will always be tony and pepper. that’s not to say i won’t ship tony with other characters, but pepper will always come first. on that same subject, i most likely will not ship him with steve, bucky, bruce, or any other male character. this is a personal decision, and if you do not agree with it then please feel free to hit the unfollow button ( or to not hit the follow button to begin with ). my intention is not to offend anyone, but this is also my portrayal of tony stark. moreover, i’m a multi-verse blog, therefore no ship will interfere with any other.

DUPLICATES

i. love. duplicates. the most difficult part about interacting with duplicates, in my experience, is the lack of understanding and respect between muns. if you get to know the writer behind another version of your character, things are honestly a million times easier. so again, i adore duplicates! i’ll write with and follow them all day long!

FOLLOWING

more often than not, i’ll follow you back if i see us possibly interacting. if i don’t follow you, please don’t take offense to it! again, offense is not intended! i’m also not 100% familiar with every single fandom, so some that i’m aware / knowledgeable of are: ahs, twd ( for the most part ), shameless ( completely caught up ), bates motel ( for the most part ), law & order svu, buffy the vampire slayer, marvel ( obvs ), dc ( somewhat ), harry potter, and probably a few others.

OC’S/OC CHILDREN

tbh, i love oc’s. i started on tumblr as an oc, and as an oc kid at that. with that said, i’ll most likely write with you right away as an oc. however, i’ll be a bit more selective with kids and how they came to be. we all know tony was a little promiscuous in his younger years, but i don’t think he was careless ( for the most part, at least ). but just come to me and we’ll talk stuff out!

MAINS/EXCLUSIVES

i am all for mains and exclusives, tbh, though i reserve exclusives for characters outside of my fandom more often than not ( it’s easier that way ). mains, however, i try to only have one for each character. if you’re interested in becoming a main or going exclusive with me, hmu!

MARIA & HOWARD STARK

personally i do not agree with the version of maria stark that civil war went with, and i will be using marion cotillard and monica bellucci as the main fc’s i reblog for maria stark on this blog ( and those are also the fc’s i use on my own maria stark blog ). relationship wise, we all know he had a rocky one with howard, but he absolutely loved and adored his mother. she was there when no one else was, and he’s never forgotten that.

SMUT/NSFW

seeing as i am 21, i am legally able to write all kinds of nsfw. however, i will not write smut with anyone under the age of 18. that is a rule i will not break or budge on, so please do not ask. be honest with me when it comes to your age, because that gains you a lot of respect from me. i will tag triggers ( i only have one or two, just ask if you’re curious! ) as follows: tw. blood, tw. drugs, etc. if you need me to tag something in particular, just message me!

whether we follow each other or not, feel free to send memes or make me a starter! there’s no guarantee i’ll make a starter for you after we become mutuals, but it is a possibility. on the subject of reblog karma with memes, i do not follow it. if you wanna reblog a meme from me, go ahead! i just ask you don’t continually do it every single time i reblog a new meme. just be respectful about it, basically.
